We are seeking a committed and certified Special Education Teacher to join our esteemed school district for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a dedicated team comprising fellow educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement customized learning experiences for each student.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive the personalized attention and support required for their success.
- Design and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), facilitating the necessary services and accommodations for each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining open communication with families to track developments and adapt plans for optimal growth.
Qualifications
- Valid Special Education Certification from Massachusetts is required.
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in managing a range of challenging behaviors in an educational context.
